This PCB inspection course will provide the students with an inspection strategy to physically review the product to determine the whether or not it meets the IPC-A-610 requirements. The students will learn how to find the problem areas on the assemblies with a focus on improving product yields. The students will learn how to improve their discrimination and inspection skills. This PCB inspection course is intended for personnel inspecting printed circuit assemblies or for any employee who is involved in vendor qualification.
The PCB Inspection course is a 1-day, practical hands-on session and discussion that builds on the skills learned in the IPC-A-610 certification.
Attendees are required to have knowledge of the inspection requirements in the IPC-A-610 document. Familiarity with the material covered in Module 1 of the IPC-A-610 certification is required prior to taking the course.
