BEST’s “home” training center is located in Rolling Meadows, IL, right outside of Chicago. The center is a Master IPC Training facility offering certifications for both Certified IPC Specialists' (CIS) and Certified IPC Trainers' (CIT). The BEST headquarters near Chicago features a professionally outfitted state-of-the-art training center featuring the latest in soldering equipment. Additionally, each workstation fearures LCD screens that display what the instructor is showing under the microscope.

Where is the Training Center?

Located in the northwest suburb of Rolling Meadows, BESTs’ solder training and certification center is centrally located. The center is a 20 minute ride from the one of the busiest airports in the world, Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. The center is also about 40 minutes away from downtown Chicago, IL.

What to Do in the Area?

Chicago is a world class destination. It is large in this sense, yet approachable and very diverse in its' neighborhoods.

The great city of Chicago offers something for everyone – from world-class shopping, fine art galleries, architecture, museums and theatre, to unique neighborhoods rich in distinctive cultural heritage. All along the lakefront, Chicago is bustling with things for you to do. The Chicagoland suburbs offer many attractions as well such as riverboat casinos, amusement parks, and sports/entertainment venues.

So what would you like to do while visiting Chicago? We recommend spending a day at Navy Pier or taking a lakefront boat tour. Also, no visit to Chicago is complete without a Chicago River Architecture Cruise or Lake Michigan Skyline Tours. you could try shopping on the Magnificent Mile too. Visit the city’s museum campuses which include the Adler Planetarium, the Field Museum, or the Art Institute of Chicago for an experience that is both fun and educational. Don’t forget that Chicago is known for its terrific dining experiences. At some point during your trip, you’ll want to try a Chicago hotdog, beef sandwich, or deep-dish pizza!
