Laser Ablation and IPC Courses Filling Up!

Dear Electronics Colleague:
We recently visited the Castillo de San Marcos in St Augustine. It is the oldest masonry fort in the continental United States in one of the oldest cities in America. It was founded by Spain and then to England and back to Spain again over time.
Best regards,

Laser Ablation
BEST's laser ablation process does not burn or melt coatings, but instead removes them from substrates by breaking the molecular bonds of the coating material. Another distinguishing capability of this process is the removal of coatings from sites plated with soft metals, such as gold and tin/lead. BEST is able to remove coatings using a variety of guided laser sources while leaving the underlying plated metals intact and without heat effects ("orange-peeling").

Product Highlight -
Mixed Tech Kit
BEST training kits feature REAL circuit boards that represent actual soldering conditions. These training kits feature thick multilayer boards which are more representative of the thermal conditions of "real" circuit boards. Parts on this board include both Throughhole, as well as SMT parts making it a "mixed technology" training board. This board features immersion gold over an electroless nickel finish. To order, call Chris Edwards (cedwards@solder.net) at 847-797-9250 or visit our online store.
