February 2017

Dear Electronics Colleague -

This past month, we had a cook-off here at BEST between employees. The theme was Italian and we had many different, great entrees. Its always a great time when we can bring co-workers together for a friendly competition and a delicious meal!

Coming up on March 7th, BEST will be presenting at the Kester Rework Seminar in Itasca, IL. BEST MIT and President, Bob Wettermann, will be presenting on the topic of "Alternative Methods for BGA Rework Solder Paste and Flux Application."

To learn more, please visit our webpage here. Please RSVP to Michelle O'Brien (mobrien@kester.com).

Best Regards,

PTH Connector Rework

Do you struggle with the rework of larger or more complex components on high thermal mass PCBs, especially plated through-hole devices such as connectors?

The challenges with this type of rework include: improper hole fill when replacing the connector, long dwell times at the solder fountain, and laminate damage during the rework process.

Speak with Laura Ripoli (lripoli@solder.net
) at 224-387-3255 about your application and how BEST can solve these rework dilemmas.
