Other films are unreliable at temperatures which exceed the (Tg) the glass transition temperature of the adhesives used in building structures made form this material. You can Cirlex®’s maintains its integrity at extreme temperatures, from -269°C (-452°F) to 351°C (664°F). Cirlex®is closely matched to the CTE of copper and therefore is used where adhesion of the Cirlex® to the copper is necessary. This film is easily modified by laser machining.
BEST has a large variety of lasers which can be used to cut patterns in to Cirlex™ with feature dimensions with tolerances at 0.05mm. We can work on a variety of part sizes and can confirm dimensions using our optical inspection systems. BEST can supply the micro machining services with you supplying your film or already value-added component and provide other value-added services along with the machining such as further assembly operations or packaging. While we have expertise in the electronics manufacturing and repair areas we produce a variety of different components to keep the utilization rate of our machines to the highest possible level.
