The BEST SMT boot camp is a 4 day class designed to give the students both some practical experience with as well as an understanding of the numerous processes and materials used in through hole and surface mount technologies. Lectures are held in a classroom, within manufacturing areas and throughout the surrounding area by various subject matter experts. The practically-oriented nature of this course helps the student to understand concepts and principals thoroughly. Since this class is NOT taught by any one machine vendor, a broader understanding of the various SMT processes is something each student will take home with him/her.
