Setup Process
- We ship you one or more installation CDs with all necessary software and course
files for installation on your server
- The "Server" can be any Window's based computer or an existing Windows server
How do I Install the Server Software?
- During the server install, you send a training "credits" request to us.
Credits can be automatically sent via a Web form
- BEST processes the request and emails a license code to you. You enter this information
into the program and enable access to the training.
How does the Software get Installed
The first time a student workstation accesses the software on the server, the client-side
student player software is automatically installed across the network. This takes only a few
seconds.
Database Requirements for LAN-based Training
- Installation works with MS Access (database supplied) or SQL Server if that is available
on your system.
- SQL is preferable if it is available, as it is more robust for larger numbers of users.
