Advanced SMT Rework Training – Tin-Lead Workshop
This comprehensive course encompasses the skills necessary to perform rework of electronic printed circuit boards using tin-lead solder and including both through hole and surface mount technologies. During this course, the student will be introduced to the concept of electrostatic discharge and control methods, component identification, workmanship standards and hands-on soldering and desoldering techniques utilizing state of the art materials and tools. This course is structured to be in accordance with IPC-A-610 training and IPC 7711 training.
Upon completion of the course, students receive a BEST certificate of completion.

This is a 5-day, customizable primarily hands-on course. It is an advanced skills course, designed to teach selected content to soldering techs who have some experience in soldering. Students will demonstrate soldering skills.
