IPC/WHMA-A-620 CIS
TRAINING FOR OPERATORS
The IPC/WHMA-A-620 Operator/Inspector training is designed to improve individual “discrimination” skills; that is, to improve accuracy of discriminating between an “acceptable” or “not acceptable” cable or wire harness assembly per the IPC/WHMA-A-620 document. This program will also teach individuals accept/reject criteria to enhance their ability to consistently and correctly apply the discrimination criteria.

- Wire Preparation
- Soldered and Crimped Terminations
- Insulation Displacement
- Ultrasonic Welding and Splicing
- Molding/Potting
- Cable Assemblies-Coaxial & Twinaxial
- Wire Bundle Securing & Shielding
This is a 4-day, lecture course that teaches students the accept/reject criteria in the IPC-A-620, for all three classes of cable and wire harness assembly. Additonal hands-on instruction in wire and cable assembly can be added to the coursework.
