This one-day engineering level course is structured to teach the student how to program sequences and profiles utilizing a BGA Rework System and it's software. A basic explanation of convective heating principles, the use of thermal coupling devices, and system navigation is covered. During this course, a profile for a company specific product can be developed. Practical application sessions will be conducted to test the student' understanding of the material. Available on SRT, AireVac, and other BGA rework equipment.

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • K-type thermocouples
  • Thermocouple bonding material
  • Company specific assembly

This is a 1-day, combination hands-on, lecture and practical “observation” course which teaches students the basic processes for BGA profiling.

This course uses the following equipment at BEST:

- SRT Summit 1500 Hot Gas Rework Machine

- Nikon XT V 160 Electronics X-Ray Inspection Machine
