What BEST needs to build your fast turn PCBs

• The clock starts when funds have been transferred to BEST, we have your shipping info and the last parts have been received. Parts received after 12:00 pm CST are considered received the following day. BEST is conveniently located in the middle of the US near a major international airport (Chicago) for fast shipment anywhere in the world.
• We require all build data 24 hours prior the receipt of parts. This data includes:
  1. Bill of materials in Excel or Delimited Format
  2. Customer drawings including any special instructions
  3. Gerber files provided on CD or uploaded to BEST FTP site
• 5 or 5% extra parts (whichever is more) for all SMT passive components, 20% for 0603 and smaller devices
• For larger active components (including BGAs) we ask for 1 extra, to compensate for any damages.
• We expect that the PCB has reference designators & polarity signs be clearly marked.
• All parts with pin 1 or polarity must show some visible mark for identification. If a part is not clearly marked with polarity indicators, customer will have to provide that information.

• We log in and inspect all kitted parts prior to the beginning of the prototype build, checking it against the supplied documentation.
• If we are provided the incorrect part (according to the BOM) we will not place it and notify you in our production report when the boards arrive.
• In the event of a shortage, we will contact you by phone and/or e-mail and postpone the build for as long as 1 hour, in order to resolve the problem.
• If you would like us to stop the PCB build and resume once parts have arrived, we will charge an additional 20% of your order amount to stop and then re-start the assembly process.

• We are shipping to an address in the US
• All kitted parts match their respective pads on the PCB.
• All kitted parts, including the PCB, are defect-free
• All necessary data is received 24 hrs prior to the arrival of the parts kit.
• The Gerber file and BOM both have reference designators.

  All orders received after 12 p.m. CST are considered received the following day.

• BEST warrants each assembly for workmanship up to 90 days after shipment. BEST will repair the assembly or credit the quoted cost of the placement at our option.
• BEST gives no other warranty, either expressed or implied, and specifically disclaims all other warranties, including warranties for merchantability and fitness.
• BEST liability will be limited to the amount of the order.

• Credit card (MC or VISA) will be charged at the time of order over the phone.
• A $40 export handling fee will be charged for all orders outside the US.

• We only accept credit cards (MC or VISA) for your first order. If you wish to setup an account you must have a minimum of three orders during consecutive months, paid within terms. Applications for account are subject to our approval.

• For small quantity production builds we recommend functional testing of the assemblies. This insures that a high degree of outgoing QC levels
